IT Exterior I, III — Oil on linen

Since the early 90s, the city of Bangalore has actively encouraged the development of an information and communications technology (ICT) sector, which  led to the city’s  eventual development into the so-called Silicon Valley of India. After the establishment of Electronic City in 1978, the city slowly grew scattered with IT parks. Since then, buildings clad with aluminium composite panels (ACP, used for insulation and the improvement of appearance) started to appear throughout the city—a signature style of technological progress. The use of ACP has a controversial history—the material has contributed to the spread of fire in many buildings across the world, like the Grenfell Tower in 2017
